Let's posit, though, just for a moment, that the predictions are all right: coding is over; it'll all be done by machines going forward. If that's true, I want you to imagine a much better world.
This keeps us from seeing AI as simply a tool. We use tools to extend our own capacity, and to accomplish goals more effectively or more efficiently. We also recognize that they have limitations: a hammer makes a poor screwdriver makes a poor drill.
